Jonathan calls himself a storyteller because writer, blogger, editor, content marketer, journalist, copywriter and speaker wouldn’t fit neatly on a business card. His articles have won a couple of writing and journalism awards, but they were so long ago it seems boastful to keep mentioning them in bios. Nevertheless, Jonathan has written, edited or otherwise word-wrangled content marketing projects for brands such as Telstra and Australia Post. These days, he works primarily as a content writer for digital transformation provider UST. Jonathan lives in the Blue Mountains, Australia, still trying to perfect the art of writing about himself in the third person.
Caroline is the co-writer and co-producer of true crime podcast documentary Lost in Larrimah, which won a Walkley Award, and the co-author of Larrimah and Writing Feature Stories: How to research and write articles—from listicles to longform. She has written for a range of publications, including The Guardian, The Australian, The Weekend Australian Magazine, and Australian Women's Weekly.
As Vice President of Brand and Content Marketing, Meghan leads a global team of creative professionals. With fifteen years of experience in marketing and leadership, she is responsible for the organisation’s brand management, creative direction, and content strategy.
Scott is currently a branded content consultant for the Financial Times and a marketing consultant for various digital start-ups. Prior to this, Scott spent seven years at Ogilvy UK as Director of Content, running global content for brands such as Rolls-Royce, Nokia, and Formula 1. Scott has previously spent twenty years as a newspaper and magazine editor and journalist, sitting in the editor’s hot seat for publications as diverse as Loaded and BA’s High Life.
Megan is a skilled and versatile freelancer, with experience in writing websites, blogs, case studies, articles, and more. She also supports corporate marketing teams with strategic planning, creative thinking, project management, and special events. Megan works with companies and non-profit organisations across the U.S., specialising in healthcare and technology.
Dawn leads our amazing global Customer Success Team here at Shorthand and has a background in business and real-life journalism. Before joining us she worked as an Editor at a C-suite membership organisation. She also held positions at a trade magazine and a national women’s weekly.
